    Short description of the contract or purchase(s)

    The Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology requires the services of a Cleaning Contractor to provide a high quality cleaning service at its Campus in Castlebar, Co.Mayo. The Institute’s holding consists of approximately 10,500 square metres of space. There are currently approximately 1,000 full and part students and approximately 100 staff on Campus. A regular cleaning will normally be required by the Institute from Monday to Friday. There may be occasions when a cleaning service is required on Saturdays.

    On completion of the first phase stage, the participants identified as suitably qualified will be invited to tender for the award of this competition.

    It is envisaged that the initial contract will be for 1 year with two 12 month extensions. A three month probation period applied for all new suppliers.
