Restricted Process for the Provision of a Facial Recognition Solution for Ireland‘s Passport Service

The Department is seeking to engage the services of a Contractor(s) to provide software and licenses for the purpose of facial recognition. It is expected that the successful Contractor(s) at the completion of the two stages of this tender process will provide: Facial recognition software and all relevant licenses for an initial period of one year, renewable thereafter for three more periods of 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance; Support and maintenance for software and licenses provided for the duration of the contract; Initial batch-run of software for examination of a once-off matching of existing passport data; Training for Passport Service staff in the use of software application
