Irish Water plan to undertake the construction of: • new and upgraded gravity sewers with varying diameters from 300mm – 900mm along public roads, and private & public lands for a total distance of approximately 9.4 km. • New foul sewer rising mains with varying diameters from 200mm – 500mm along public roads, and private & public lands for a total distance of approximately 8.6 km. • An upgrade of Monread Pumping Station and provision of additional stormwater storage capacity • An upgrade of Clane Pumping Station and provision of additional stormwater storage capacity • Trenchless motorway, rail & canal crossings • Upgrading the capacity of the existing Sallins stormwater storage Irish Water also plan to undertake the demolition of: • the existing Monread Pumping Station control building and existing underground structures • the existing Clane Pumping Station control building and existing underground structures.
