ENQEIR490 - Noise Empirical Study

EirGrid is seeking an appropriately qualified and experienced Consultant to undertake noise measuring of 400 kV overhead line transmission conductors, with the intention of capturing noise from corona discharge, or other causes. It is envisaged that noise measuring of sample 400 kV overhead line conductors would be undertaken in a laboratory and extrapolated mathematically to estimate an actual installation. EirGrid will not be providing conductor samples, the tenderer is expected to source suitable conductor samples. See Tender Documents attached to this eTenders Notice for full details.
