Sligo Water Conservation Project, Sligo City Watermains Replacement Works - Contract No. 4

Sligo County Council invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to carry out the following works in Sligo City and its Environs: 1) 9,353m of PE100 watermains in various streets in Sligo City, ranging in diameter from 125mm to 355mm, to replace existing cast iron, AC and uPVC watermains, associated fittings and 663 no. consumer connections. 2) 1,100m of surface water sewer from the junction of Mail Coach Road and Pearse Road to John F Kennedy Parade, ranging in diameter from 225mm to 900mm, with a 900mm diameter outfall to the Garavogue River. 3) 198m of 450mm diameter surface water sewer on Cleveragh Road. 4) Non return valve and petrol interceptor constructed on the proposed surface water sewer at John F Kennedy Parade, upstream of the outfall to the Garavogue River. 5) 235m of 375mm diameter foul sewer in Thomas Street, Teeling Street and Pearse Road, to replace the existing old stone culverts which require replacement as part of the surface water separation works. 6) Ancillary Works associated with the above. Tender documents will be dispatched on receipt of a written request and receipt of €300.00 made payable to Ryan Hanley Consulting Engineers. The deposit will be refunded on receipt of a bona fide tender not subsequently withdrawn and on return of the Tender Documents.
