AUG376755 - Supply & Servicing of Portable Gas Detection Equipment for use in Wastewater Operations

Kildare County Council wishes to procure a contract for the supply, maintenance, callibration, and servicing of portable handheld Gas Detector units for use in our Wastewater Operations outdoor section so as to safeguard operatives against the risk of exposure to hazardous environments. It is envisaged that up to 50 such units will be required, together with a maximum of 6 docking stations (if required) which shall be capable of monitoring all high-risk gases that are commonly found in such environments.Kildare County Council are open to options of either the purchase or the hire of gas detector units over a contract duration of a maximum of 4 years, whichever is deemed to be the most economically advantageous option as determined by the Award Criteria published in Part 3 of the attached RFT documentation.Kildare County Council are also open to offers as part of, or seperate to this tender, for the trade-in of our current stock of handheld gas detector units.
