This tender is seeking to appoint consultants to prepare all documentation associated with a planning application for this project. The Appropriate Assessment indicates that a Natura Impact Assessment is not required in this instance and hence the planning application for this project can proceed under Part 8 of the Planning and Development Regulations 2001-2022. This successful tenderer will be required to: • Develop a Scheme Design from the feasibility study. The successful contractor will be expected to prepare all drawings required to make a planning application • Consult with the Planning Authority’s-Multi-Disciplinary Team, statutory undertakers and other external appointed consultants in a pre-planning meeting • Carry out a topographical survey of the area of land which will be subject to the planning application • Preparation of a flood risk assessment • Preparation of a planning report • Preparation of an archaeological impact assessment of the site • Please note that an AA screening has been prepared and is attached for your information • Environmental impact assessment report will be required • Ecological assessment to be carried out • Assessment of the junction between the access road and L-3404-3 will be required with a view to upgrading same. Additional lay-bys along the access road may also be required. These elements will be discussed and agreed at the pre-planning meeting.
