N86 Dingle Town Pavement Scheme

The N86 Dingle Town Pavement Scheme comprises the improvement of approximately 500m of pavement on the N86 National Secondary Road in Dingle Town. The project commences on the Mail Road, northwest of Dingle GAA pitch, and terminates at the junction of The Tracks (N86) and Strand Street (R559). The project is in an urban area, entirely within the 50km/h speed limit. The project comprises a structural improvement of the existing road in the form of an inlay/partial reconstruction. The works consists primarily of planing, excavation of the existing road layers, construction of pavement inlay, drainage works, raising existing ironwork, road lining and accommodation works.
