LA1976C - LA1976C Provision of a 3D Bioplotter/Bioprinter for Atlantic Technological University (ATU), Galway City Campus

Tenders are sought for the provision of a 3D Bioplotter/Bioprinter for Atlantic Technological University (ATU), Galway City Campus. The 3D Bioplotter/Bioprinter is required to print a range of sterilizable biocompatible materials at high resolution (minimum axis resolution (XYZ) 0.001) under highly controlled parameters (temperature, pressure, and speed). A built-in high-definition camera for high accuracy calibration is required. Database of inner patterns (user editable) in the controlling software is required. The 3D Bioplotter/Bioprinter is required to print highly complex patterns with straight lines, zig zag shapes and wave forms as well as hexagon shapes for the development of hybrid scaffolds. The 3D Bioplotter/Bioprinter must have the capability of printing the following materials (minimum required): Ceramic/Metal Pastes - such as hydroxyapatite; titanium and tricalcium phosphate; Thermoplastics (PCL; PLLA & PLGA); Hydrogels (Agar; Silk; Hyaluronic Acid; Alginate; Chitosan; Gelatin; Fibrin & Collagen); Polyurethane; Silicone; Acrylates; Graphene).
