Blarney Castle is keen to be digitally fit for purpose as a leading heritage attraction as they emerge from the Covid pandemic. In particular they would wish to make sure that the "back end", ticketing, tour bookings, staffing, and operational resources no longer sit in silos with unlinked systems and manual operations but are integrated as far as possible together. Blarney Castle is therefore seeking a database solution to provide a fully integrated ticketing, marketing and CRM system which can drive its web sales and social media strategies, handle all ticketing, schools/group bookings, and act as the FOH software solution for tickets and Point-of-Sale in the shop. Blarney Castle currently use a number of different IT systems and software to hold contact and other data that includes: a bespoke ticketing system to manage online ticket sales, Meridian for onsite ticket sales/epos for shop/café, there is no bulk email solution but an integrated e-marketing solution (such as Mail Chimp) will be sought, Sage for finance as well as excel spread sheets (for Membership) and google docs to manage some elements of the business. None of the systems are currently linked satisfactorily which means that there is data duplication, data security is a concern and importantly, as a result, there is a lack of ability to create and implement a cohesive joined up customer journey. The ticket/CRM/epos system must be a fully featured proven system that can be deployed immediately. Blarney Castle is interested in systems that can provide: • EITHER a comprehensive two-way integration with their current epos system - Meridian provided by Retail Integration • OR an all-in-one solution to provide for online/offline ticket/membership/donation sales, CRM, Marketing, epos/retail sales onsite and online
