OPW - Provision of Art Transportation, Logistics and Installation Services to the Office of Public Works

The OPW wishes to appoint a panel of suitably qualified Art Transporters and Installers to support the following requirements: The service provider must have extensive experience in (1) art handling, (2) art transport and (3) installation of art for display. The service provider must be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of methodology and practices associated with the movement and installation of both contemporary and historic art (paintings, prints, photographs, sculpture and other visual art media) and have a proven track record of working with curators and collections. Most movement of artworks will be within Ireland but from time to time there may be requirement for international transportation (involving air or sea freight). Ability to work with flexible schedules. The most flexible compliant procurement procedure is required as the OPW will have individual requirements and budgets for specific projects. The service provider is required to have knowledge of up-to-date health and safety standards and ensure that its teams comply with such standards.
