Out of Hours/Emergency Call - Out of hours/Emergency call answering service

Tipperary County Council is inviting interested parties to Tender for the operation of an Out of Hours and Emergency Call Answering Service for a two-year period. a) This service involves taking calls during: a. - Standard Out of Hours times and in cases of Emergencies and Major Emergencies or in the case of a fault in the councils telephone switchboard system b. - Both during Normal Office Hours and Out of Hours. Note: A Major Emergency or an exceptional severe weather event is an infrequent emergency which may be expected to occur 1 or 2 times per year or perhaps not for several years. Typically, the duration of a single event may extend from 1 day to 7 days. b) The annual Out Of Hours/Emergency call volume is estimated at 2,500 to 3,000 calls per annum. This contract will be for a minimum of 3,000 calls per annum. c) The successful Service Provider will be expected to take all calls as follows: - i. From 4.30pm to 9.30am, the next morning, Monday to Thursday ii. From 4.30pm to 9.30am, the next morning, Friday. iii. All Day (24hrs) on Saturday and Sunday. iv. All Day (24hrs) on Bank holidays, Public Holidays and days when Tipperary County Council offices are closed. v. Between 9.30am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday, in the event that Tipperary County Council is unable to take these calls. AWARDED SUPPLIER: CALL 11890 LTD
