Provision of a software solution and associated support of same for a new environment for Application Programming Interface (API) for NVDF public and Customer interfaces at the following; Shannon Town Centre, Shannon, Co Clare. The department requires a complete software solution stack with enterprise support built on proven opensource technology. The solution will be used to support an API led microservices design to provide access to the National Vehicle and Driver file (NVDF) data they manage. The solution must protect the integrity of the NVDF database. The solution will be hosted on premise on a private cloud running VMware vSphere with performance tiered shared storage provided by an existing EMC VNX SAN infrastructure. There will be two active geo-redundant deployments approximately 150Miles apart. A third deployment, hosted at one of the production sites, will be used to host non-production environments co-hosted on the same virtualisation/platform cluster using a multitenancy approach for workload isolation. .
