RWMO Tender - National Review of Civic Amenity Facilities

The three waste planning regions are seeking a suitably qualified service provider to carry out a detailed study of the role, function, operation and financing of local authority operated civic amenity sites in Ireland. The successful service provider will be required to: • Compile and analyse data from a representative sample of sites nationally. • Provide a detailed financial analysis of the operation of the selected facilities including any anticipated capital investment requirements. • Produce a sustainable funding model for civic amenity sites based on anticipated income, costs and overheads. • Make recommendations regarding the future role, function, operation and financing of civic amenity facilities in the context of national and regional waste policy. The successful service provider must have a strong technical skill set with the ability to analyse data gathered and make informed recommendations. The anticipated project timeline is six months from the appointment of the successful service provider to the delivery of the final report, subject to the timely availability of required data, and the quality of the final report and deliverables .
