The National Cancer Registry identifies, collects, records, stores and analyses data on all new incidences of cancer in Republic of Ireland. In addition, it collects, records, stores and analyses data on deaths from cancer in Republic of Ireland. This provides indicator and research data on cancer control, from prevention through screening, to treatments and outcomes as well as identifying socio-economic and geographical disparities in cancer related risk factors.
