Description of the procurement

The Contracting Authority seeks a Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure solution comprising on-Premise Hyper-Converged Infrastructure and integrated Public/Private Cloud infrastructure, manageable via a single management interface to replace its legacy systems.
The Contracting Authority believes a Hybrid Cloud model will enable High Application availability, ensure Data Loss Prevention, efficient Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity, and enable the Contracting Authority to easily deploy Systems/Services on-premise or in the Cloud according to business requirements. The Contracting Authority requires an efficient, cost-effective solution that is flexible, scalable and will cater for future growth and business needs. The Contracting Authority also requires an efficient and cost-effective solution for data backup, including physical and virtual machines, application aware and file level backup, and for disaster recovery for business-critical applications. Cloud elements of the solution must be located in the European Union (EU). Data must be encrypted during transit and at rest in the DR solution. The Contracting Authority requires a secure, resilient, energy efficient solution that can cater for a wide range of applications and business needs including both structured data (databases) and unstructured data (emails, documents, video, etc.).
Support & maintenance of the complete solution is also required.
