Short description
This process is for the provision of AHR services.
This process is facilitated by way of an Authorisation Scheme. Please note that as the rates were set by the HSE, and all other criteria were deemed to be mandatory minimums, no award criteria were utilised (the weightings forming this Contract Award Notice are to allow publication of same and did not apply). Each provider will form part of the €20,000,000 available budget – for the avoidance of doubt, the overall project value is €20,000,000, and not that value awarded to each company.
The reasons that the process is also being advertised on eTenders as an open procedure is to boost participation in the Authorisation Scheme, facilitate the submission of documents to a secure portal and to allow interested parties to request clarifications in a transparent and familiar manner.

Description of the procurement
This process is for the provision of AHR services with specific reference to the provision of IUI and IVF services inclusive of ICSI.
The HSE is planning for the operationalisation of both publicly and privately provided AHR services. It is anticipated by the HSE that in the short to medium term, the majority of services will need to be provided via the private sector whilst the HSE build up a network of public capacity. It is currently planned that these services (the subject of this procurement process) will commence as of September 2023.
This process is facilitated by way of an Authorisation Scheme.
The reasons that the process is also being advertised on eTenders as an open procedure is to boost participation in the Authorisation Scheme, facilitate the submission of documents to a secure portal and to allow interested parties to request clarifications in a transparent and familiar manner.
