Description of the procurement
The Works comprise the construction of 43 No. Social (Housing) Apartments at Westside Court, Model Farm Road, Cork together with 84 No. Social Apartments and 6 No Social Housing Units at Clover Hill Court, Bessboro Road, Mahon, Cork in one single contract on a Design and Build Basis including associated Mechanical and Electrical Services Installations together with all associated External Works in “live” occupied environments as per the Outline Scheme Drawings, Indicative Specifications and Schedules of Accommodation issued for guidance purposes in association with this Suitability Assessment Questionnaire.
Tendering contractors will be required to include for performing the roles of Designer, Main Contractor, Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) and Project Supervisor Construction Process (PSCS) for all Design and Construction Disciplines.
In particular, the Main Contractor will be required to comply with the code of practice for inspecting and certifying buildings and works as defined in SI No.9 of 2014 Building Control (Amendment) Regulations (BC(a)R) 2014 to include the roles of Design Certifier and Ancillary Certifiers.
Price is not the only award criterion and all criteria are stated only in the procurement documents
