The Chief State Solicitor's Office provides litigation and property related services to the Attorney General, government departments and government offices. The State Property Division of the Chief State Solicitor's Office (“Division”) provides conveyancing services and property advices to all Government Departments and to the Office of Public Works (“OPW”). The Division deals principally with purchases, sales, commercial leasing, licensing and charging of property. The Division also handles probate matters in respect of escheated estates. Although the Division conducts an increased amount of its searching online it requires legal agency services in respect of conveyancing and probate work
