Short description
The Contracting Authority proposes to engage in a competitive process for the award of two contracts, incorporating a rental agreement for Turnkey Design and Build, Modular Classroom and Office Accommodation and any additional works required during the lifetime of the agreement at the following locations.
(a) Contract for Two Storey Modular Building – ATU Galway City, Dublin Road Campus, Dublin Road, Galway City
(b) Contract for Three Single Storey Modular Buildings, ATU Galway City, Wellpark Campus, Monivea Road, Galway City.

Description of the procurement
The Contracting Authority proposes to engage in a competitive process for the award of two contracts, incorporating a rental agreement for Turnkey Design and Build, Modular Classroom and Office Accommodation and any additional works required during the lifetime of the agreement at the following locations.
(a) Contract for Two Storey Modular Building – ATU Galway City, Dublin Road Campus, Dublin Road, Galway City
(b) Contract for Three Single Storey Modular Buildings, ATU Galway City, Wellpark Campus, Monivea Road, Galway City.
Rental Agreement for a Turnkey Design and Build, Modular Classroom and Office Space.
ATU are proposing an initial contract of a 5-year rental period, with an option to convert to a direct purchase after year 2, or at the discretion of ATU to have a maximum rental period of up to 10 years.
ATU also reserves the right to purchase the building at the end of the maximum 10-year rental period. This arrangement is subject to change by mutual agreement, depending on funding arrangements.
ATU are using the Accelerated Competitive Procedure with Negotiation
Price is not the only award criterion and all criteria are stated only in the procurement documents
