Short description

Essential Technical Criteria of the HASS/HALT Environmental Testing Chamber include: • Large vibrating table with suitably threaded holes for fixing test pieces (typically 36” by 36”). • Six degrees of freedom vibration to allow for random vibration. • Table capacity of minimum 200kg. • Vibration rate up to 60gRMS. • Vibration table should be fully accessible. • A minimum of 2 windows for inspection. • At least one access port for wiring, piping, etc. • Heating system is typically electric. • Cooling systems is liquid nitrogen. • Temperature range +80°C to -50°C. • Temperature rate is typically 70°C/minute. • Built in thermocouples and thermostats with the capability of utilising additional thermostats. • Accelerometer with additional channels for further accelerometers. • Control software and data acquisition.
