The Health Service Executive (HSE) on behalf of Organ Donation and Transplant Ireland (ODTI) is seeking responses from suitably qualified candidates for the provision of a quality and compliance consultancy for Organ Donation Transplant Ireland. Contract will be for a period of 3 years with an option to extend for a further period of 1 year. The overriding requirement is to build on developments to date in the area to deliver a quality focused organ donation and transplant service and to do so in line with European Standards as set out in Statutory Instrument (SI) 325 (2012), European Union (Quality and Safety of Human Organs Intended for Transplantation) Regulations 2012.

Description of the procurement

The Health Service Executive (HSE) on behalf of Organ Donation and Transplant Ireland (ODTI) is seeking responses from suitably qualified candidates for the provision of a quality and compliance consultancy for Organ Donation Transplant Ireland. Contract will be for a period of 3 years with an option to extend for a further period of 1 year. The overriding requirement is to build on developments to date in the area to deliver a quality focused organ donation and transplant service and to do so in line with European Standards as set out in Statutory Instrument (SI) 325 (2012), European Union (Quality and Safety of Human Organs Intended for Transplantation) Regulations 2012. It is expected that the Consultancy service will support activities as listed below: • Lead and manage the progress of the assignment on a day-to-day basis, including assessment of timelines, issues and risk. • Identify and request the necessary resources to ensure service deliverables and timelines are achievable. • Communicate and report progress to ODTI management and escalate any issues. • Deliver updates/reports and documentation on request to ODTI. • Liaise and engage with relevant stakeholders to deliver the expected benefits of each initiative.
