The delivery, of an existing accredited programme in support of a number of established Department roles, with the opportunity for development of additional or replacement programmes during the contract duration .
The Department currently delivers a set of seven tailored QQI-accredited courses in partnership with an established Service-Delivery Partner for which the contract concludes in July 2023. Responses to tender are now sought for the next Service-Delivery Partner(s) by way of an open-procurement process.
The successful bidder(s) will work with the Department to review and, where appropriate, refine the existing programme offering, including the possible inclusion of further programmes in line with the Department's learning and development strategy .
The existing programmes, and any new programmes developed over the lifetime of the contract, will be delivered to an agreed level of accreditation.

Description of the procurement

The existing programmes, and any new programmes developed over the lifetime of the contract, will be delivered to an agreed level of accreditation. The level of accreditation required will range from a minimum NFQ Level 6 (HETAC) to Level 8 depending on each individual programme and will be agreed between the Department and the successful bidder that has delegated-authority from Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI).
The existing accredited programme being delivered is designed as a series of modules that attract credits as part of the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). Students, on acquiring the requisite number of credits, are awarded an appropriate qualification by an awarding body recognised under the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ).
Material in use in the delivery of the existing seven courses will be made available to the successful bidder(s) as a basis for future development and delivery of a set of updated programme syllabi in partnership with the Department. The new learning programme must be capable of being delivered to staff to include face-to-face learning, remote office and home-based learning environments.The option of regional delivery is also required.
