Description of the procurement

The Contracting Authority proposes to engage in a competitive process for the establishment of a Single Party Framework Agreement for Public Spending Code Advisory Services. A service provider is sought to assist the Irish Prison Service in carrying out strategic assessments and preparing preliminary and final business cases and appraisals (including PPP procurement assessments where appropriate), to support general project and programme planning, and to support the appropriate evaluation of capital expenditure, in compliance with the provisions of the Public Spending Code. The Contracting Authority will be the Irish Prison Service, and the contract will provide for service provision to any or all of the following organisations and agencies: • The Irish Prison Service; • The Department of Justice and Equality; • An Garda Síochána; • The Courts Service; • The Probation Service; • The Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service; • The Irish Youth Justice Service; • Forensic Science Ireland; • The Criminal Assets Bureau.
