Short description

Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) has a 4 year requirement for a specialist company to provide regular Lubricant Analysis, [which will include both sampling and reporting] for five IÉ depot facilities. Applicants must show that they have the relevant experience in providing analysis and reporting of oil, fuel and grease samples, they must also have access to their own laboratory facilities, and the use of sub-contractor[s] laboratories where necessary to carry out the tests required by IÉ. Details of the lubricant analysis required by IÉ are as follows:
• Engine Crankcase Oil Analysis
• Transmission Oil Analysis
• Final Drive Oil Analysis
• Grease Analysis
• Hydraulic Oil Analysis
• Generator Oil Analysis

Description of the procurement

The contract will involve the collection of samples from five depots throughout Ireland, the days and times of collections for each depot to be agreed by IÉ, the extent and details of IÉ’s requirements will vary for each depot location, the IÉ depot locations are Inchicore, Fairview, Limerick, Drogheda and Portlaoise.
