Information about a particular profession

Execution of the service is reserved to a particular profession
Reference to the relevant law, regulation or administrative provision:  
• Tenderers must be an External Valuer within the meaning of the RICS Valuation Standards, the European Valuation Standards or the International Valuation Standards as applicable to the region in which the Tenderer operates.
• Tenderers must undertake each valuation either by or under the supervision of an appropriately qualified valuer, who accepts responsibility for the valuation. An appropriately qualified valuer is an RICS/SCSI Registered Valuer with current membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI) or an equivalent recognised professional body.

Contract performance conditions

The Service Level Agreement for delivery of services will be:
Full Valuation: within 10 working days of instruction. Any delays in access must notified within 48 hours to the Contracting Authority. An access delay will be added to the 10 working day period.
Desk top and Drive by Valuation: within 5 working days of instruction
Desk top Valuation: within 3 working days of instruction
