Description of the procurement

This is a call for competition by Iarnród Éireann – Irish Rail (IÉ) for the long term Supply of Rolling Stock Brake Discs for a number of vehicles on the IÉ fleet.
All brake discs will be delivered to Inchicore Works, Inchicore, Dublin 8, although applicants should note that IÉ do not wish to hold large quantities of stock. Visibility of the brake disc requirements will be outlined on a yearly basis and the brake discs will be ordered on a quarterly basis.
The below quantities are the best estimated figures over the seven-year term of the contract:
Lot 1: 22000/8500 Brake Disc (Wheel Mounted) – IÉ SAP Code 163356
Estimated Requirement = 4,030 Discs
Fixing kits for all brake discs will be included in the packaged brake discs which will be supplied to IÉ.
