Tenders are invited from competent Food Caterers for the provision of school meals catering service contract at St. Paul’s Community College, Paddy Browne’s Road, Lisduggan, Waterford.
The successful tenderer will be required to provide a high quality, responsive and flexible service providing a comprehensive healthy, balanced and nutritious catering service to students.
The successful tenderer will be expected to be available, if requested by school management, on site from 8.15a.m. in the mornings to provide breakfasts and finish by 3p.m. each afternoon. The school requires that the successful tenderer is flexible in catering for the student cohort.
The successful tenderer will be expected to demonstrate innovation and flair in the creation of value for money menus.
Applicants must be registered with the HSE and comply fully with Food & Hygiene Regulations

The exact duration of the initial contract will be determined by the contract commencement date (1 year + number of months. The CA reserves the right at its sole discretion to extend the contract, subject to satisfactory performance, business needs and budgetary constraints. The number of extensions will be (5) five and duration of extensions will be an academic (post-primary) year.

Contract performance conditions

Supplier performance will be continually monitored over the term of the framework agreement. The format will be agreed between the Contracting Authority and the framework member.
Cost competitiveness, quality of service and turnaround time will be the main criteria for measuring performance.
Please note that the Contracting Authority WWETB will monitor Supplier’s performances over the term of contracts and manage their service or supply of goods through the utilisation of Supplier Performance Scorecards (See Appendix 3 for Sample SLA detail and Scorecard).
