The Contracting Authority are considering replacing a number of the current litter bin stock with solar powered compacting litter bins, reducing the collection frequency.
The Contracting Authority are intending to install initially a number of solar powered compacting litter bins throughout the functional area of Louth County Council which will include a wireless monitoring system that will notify electronically the spare capacity of the litter bin. The litter bins are to be powered by a standalone renewable energy source.

Registration is free of charge. The contracting authority will not accept responsibility for information relayed (or not relayed) via third parties;
