II.2.4)

Description of the procurement

This is a resource based contract. The service requirement is to:
a) provide contract professional and technical resources to the OPW including Engineers, Architects, Technicians, Technologists, BIM Specialists and CAD Operators.
b) source suitable contract Professional/Technical resources as required by the OPW
c) transfer existing contract Professional and Technical Resources from the OPW's current Service Provider to this new contract. As part of this transfer, the existing contract staff shall be offered the opportunity to become direct employees to the Service Provider (appointed under this contract) under terms and conditions (Salary, Annual Leave, etc.) agreed with the OPW.
d) provide all ICT Equipment, software, PPE and other items necessary for contract staff to carry out their duties for the OPW.
e) administration and payment of all authorised travel and subsistence allowances as per civil service rates
f) Organising training for contract staff as deemed necessary by the OPW.
g) Paying for subscriptions to professional bodies/industry associations, for contract staff as deemed necessary by the OPW
