The services comprise of the provision of the secretariat function to the Irish Aquaculture Technology and Innovation Platform (IATiP), to ensure the smooth and effective functioning of the platform; growing the membership, ensuring good governance and also effective communication between its members and other European Aquaculture Mirror Innovation Platforms (MIPs), in the area of technological innovation for the benefit of the Irish aquaculture sector overall. The service will include on-going mapping of innovative knowledge outputs to identify, appraise and transfer innovative relevant technologies from Irish and European research institutions to industry to support, develop and promote the Irish seafood sector. The platform will allow potential project partners exchange ideas and discuss issues and promote excellence in Irish aquaculture.
