Description of the procurement

Tenders are sought for the supply, delivery and installation of two liquid cryogen free 3He/4He DILUTION REFRIGERATOR (DR) and one 14 Tesla superconducting solenoid, each with identical modular experimental platform for the Quantum Matter Research Group in the Department of Physics, University College Cork (UCC).
Both CRYOFREE 3He/4He DR should be designed for use with a superconducting magnet capable of generating fields up to 14 Tesla. At this time, we seek to purchase only one such 14 Tesla persistent superconducting solenoid. But, because second identical superconducting solenoid is planned for purchase at a later date, the two CRYOFREE 3He/4He DR must be identical in capability to operate the 14 Tesla persistent superconducting solenoid.
The overall function of both CRYOFREE 3He/4He DR is to cool both quantum materials for study using custom built experimental apparatus and quantum microscope systems for technology development, to temperatures as low at 10mK and in magnetic fields up to 14 Tesla. For this function, we seek to purchase a cryofree HELIUM RECOVERY & RECYCLING LIQUIFIER facility.
