Short description

The HSE wishes to invite suitable suppliers to submit a tender for the provision of a Taxi/Hackney service for non-emergency patient/client/service user/other transport for St Lukes General Hospital Carlow Kilkenny. The current service provided by Taxi/Hackney companies is predominantly to transport service users from in and around the Kilkenny area.
Taxi/Hackney transport services includes wheelchair accessible vehicles as requested by the HSE. Other service requirements include the transport of HSE staff and miscellaneous items to a number of locations as and when required in the surrounding area.
Contractors must guarantee a 24 Hour 7 day per week service, taking into consideration that they may be required to do week-end runs, out of office hours runs and holiday runs, i.e. Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, etc. Contractors must be contactable at all times by the HSE.
