[Cork City Council is the owner/EPA Licence Holder of the 70 ha. landfill at Kinsale Road, Cork. The Council is now inviting tenders from suitably qualified and experienced companies or individuals for the management and day-to-day operation of its Gas Infrastructure.
a) Operate and maintain the entire gas infrastructure to Waste Licence requirements, specifically; carry out monthly landfill gas field balancing, set out and deliver a programme of gas field maintenance (gas well heads, manifolds etc.), operate, maintain and service the landfill gas flares, attend monthly meetings and complete gas related reports and EPA requested data returns
(b) Provide a suitably qualified landfill gas technician to carry out landfill gas monitoring and associated works
(c) The Council may also require the services of the contractor to manage the landfill gas fuelled electricity generation equipment to the satisfaction of Cork City CouncilI]

Description of the procurement
