Lot 1: Open Source Additive Manufacturing 3D printer Tenders are sought for the supply, delivery & installation of an open source Additive Manufacturing 3D printer which utilises standard polymer granulate as the feed material. The Material Research Institute (MRI) at Athlone Institute of Technology (AIT), require the supply and installation of an open source Additive Manufacturing 3D printer for the production of polymer prototypes and components from standard and modified polymer granules.
Lot 2: Industry 4.0 Ready Micro Injection Moulding Machine Tenders are sought for the supply, delivery & installation of an Industry 4.0 ready micro injection moulding machine with integrated clean room capability which supplies class 6 clean air according to ISO 14644-1.

Description of the procurement
Tenders are sought for the supply, delivery & installation of an Industry 4.0 ready micro injection moulding machine with integrated clean room capability which supplies class 6 clean air according to ISO 14644-1. The system must consist of an automated system to remove the moulded components from the tool and offer up to additional systems. Additional systems include a rotary table, an optical parts inspection system and a conveyor belt or glass container for finished parts. The machine must include a tool which will make small test specimens.
