Short description

In summary, the Services required is the provision of a National Contact Point (NCP) to assist Irish civil society organisations to engage effectively in a range of European programmes.
For the purposes of this tender, civil society organisations should be understood to include NGOs, community-based organisations, trade unions, professional associations, social movements and networks, media, academia as well as city and county councils and regional assemblies. The NCP will publicise EU funding opportunities and also provide a support service designed to strengthen the capacity of Irish civil society organisations to better understand, apply for, and to succeed in receiving funding through a variety of EU programmes under the current and next MFF.

Description of the procurement

In summary, the Services required is the provision of a National Contact Point (NCP) to assist Irish civil society organisations to engage effectively in a range of European programmes.
For the purposes of this tender, civil society organisations should be understood to include NGOs, community-based organisations, trade unions, professional associations, social movements and networks, media, academia as well as city and county councils and regional assemblies.
It is expected that tenderers will be familiar with sources of existing EU funding and will also acquaint themselves fully with funding opportunities under the current and next MFF. Tenderers will be expected to be able to provide comprehensive advice on EU funding opportunities to the Irish civil society sector as required under the terms of this RFT.
The NCP will publicise these EU funding opportunities and also provide a support service designed to strengthen the capacity of Irish civil society organisations to better understand, apply for, and to succeed in receiving funding through a variety of EU programmes under the current and next MFF.
