The project consists of the demolition of the existing structures onsite including the now derelict Crow’s Nest public house and restaurant, four two-storey dwellings at 1-4 Victoria Terrace and the existing machinery shed and yard; The construction of a student accommodation building comprising approximately 255 student accommodation bed spaces and ancillary student support facilities at ground floor level including laundry, admin office and meeting room, common rooms, and comms rooms. A medical facility/wellness centre and 1 no. ancillary commercial/café unit are also provided at ground floor level as well as 128 no. bicycle parking spaces; plant room, switch room and sub-station; vehicular access ; foul and surface water sewers; works to the public footpath; and all other associated site services, site infrastructure and site development works.
