The Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI) planned to undertake a digital transformation and sought a technology solution to enable this transformation. The solution must provide functionality broadly encompassing the following business activities:
- All aspects of qualification recognition and registration for individuals;
- All aspects of registration for pharmacies;
- All aspects of pharmacy compliance and quality assessment;
- All aspects of complaints, concerns, queries and other information that could impact patient safety;
- All aspects of the PSI’s risk management framework;

Description of the procurement

The Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI) planned to undertake a digital transformation and sought a technology solution to enable this transformation. The solution must provide functionality broadly encompassing the following business activities:
- All aspects of qualification recognition and registration for individuals;
- All aspects of registration for pharmacies;
- All aspects of pharmacy compliance and quality assessment;
- All aspects of complaints, concerns, queries and other information that could impact patient safety;
- All aspects of the PSI’s risk management framework;
To this end the PSI is awarding a single party framework agreement for a maximum of ten years to facilitate optimisation of a partnership for the provision of a solution to meet immediate and future requirements. The framework will cover the initial contract and all other ancillary related requirements arising over the life of the framework including maintenance, support, upgrades, amendments, etc. as well as additional services to expand the system to meet changes in functionality required by PSI.
