Short description
This is a call to competition by IE for the supply and delivery of herbicide products.
IE invites applications to participate in the pre-qualification process to appoint suitably qualified companies to supply and delivery herbicide products on an ad-hoc basis.
There are five lots in total and interested parties can apply for as many lots as they want providing they complete and return the relevant Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ)
A SPECIFICATION DOCUMENT IS ATTACHED TO THE ETENDERS NOTICE FOR EACH LOT, WHICH MUST BE COMPLETED AND RETURNED ALONG WITH THE COMPLETED PQQ AND ALL REQUIRED SUPPORT DOCUMENTATION.
The Contract the subject of this competition is a fixed price contract, for one year initially with the option to extend annually for up to two additional years.

Lot 1 Contact & residual non selective broad spectrum herbicide for railway ballast (application by Spray Train)
• All chemicals proposed must be registered with Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) Pesticide Control Service (PCS) and approved for use on railway ballast (products recommended for “hard surface” may be accepted subject to PCS approval)
• Products pending approval will require approval prior to 1st March 2020, with a letter from PCS confirming this.
• Products must be approved for application between the months of March & July

• The Product must be in liquid form
• All chemicals proposed must be registered with Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) Pesticide Control Service (PCS) and approved for use on railway embankments (products recommended for “non crop permeable surface / permeable surface overlaying soils” may be accepted subject to PCS approval)
• Products pending approval will require approval prior to 1st March 2020, with a letter from PCS confirming this.
