- Removal of existing car parking spaces from Liberty Square and construction of lay-bys for parking, loading and taxi rank.
- Construction of an off-street public car park ( approx. 100 spaces) and reconfiguration of existing adjacent public car park off Slievenamon Road (including access improvements).
- Public lighting throughout Liberty Square and car park.
- Drainage.
- Undergrounding of overhead ESB cables in Liberty Square.
- Landscaping.
