Culture Ireland creates and supports opportunities for Irish artists to present their work at strategic international festivals, venues and showcases and develops platforms to present outstanding Irish creative practice to international presenters, promoters and audiences through a range of art form showcases at key global arts events.
The successful tenderer, will work with Culture Ireland’s executive as well as a multitude of partnership organisations to plan and deliver of all aspects of the Culture Ireland’s national See Here and international showcases programmes for emerging and established Irish artists.
The successful tenderer will be responsible for the allocation and management of the Showcase/See Here budget and will work with the Culture Ireland executive to ensure that payments are made in a timely manner. Culture Ireland’s showcase programme for the years 2020-2021 will be developed and delivered by the successful tenderer between October 2019 and September 2021.

Description of the procurement

Culture Ireland creates and supports opportunities for Irish artists to present their work at strategic international festivals, venues and showcases. Culture Ireland develops platforms to present outstanding Irish creative practice to international presenters, promoters and audiences through a range of art form showcases at key global arts events.
1.2. Showcase and See Here Programmes
Through Culture Ireland's Showcase and See Here programmes ("programmes"), the work of emerging and established companies and artists is selected for presentation to international presenters at key festivals and markets abroad and at home. The programmes proactively seek to build new opportunities for Irish artists internationally to present their work at strategically important global arts markets and key Irish festivals. The full Showcase and See Here programmes for 2019 are detailed below.
1.3. Managing the Programmes
Managing both programmes involves the planning and delivery of all aspects of the Culture Ireland’s national and international showcases. The successful tenderer, will work with Culture Ireland’s executive as well as a multitude of partnership organisations including the Arts Council, Dublin Theatre Festival, Dublin Dance Festival, First Music Contact, and Irish Theatre Institute among others to deliver the programmes.
1.4 Programmes Budget
The approved budget allocated to the programmes in 2019 is €785,000 which represents almost 20% of Culture Ireland’s annual budget and a similar proportion of Culture Ireland’s budget is expected to be allocated in future years. The successful tenderer will be responsible for the allocation and management of that budget and will work with the Culture Ireland executive to ensure that payments are made in a timely manner,
