Short description

The Hospital is currently exploring the technical options available to it regarding the supply, installation, ongoing training and maintenance of a CE marked neurosurgical robotic surgery unit and associated planning software. It is envisioned that any such system would be utilised in the context of minimally-invasive robotic-assisted procedures across a range of neurosurgical specialities, including, but not limited to biopsies, electrode implantation procedures for deep brain stimulation, and stereoelectroencephalography (SEEG) and neuroendoscopy. With the publication of this document, Beaumont Hospital seeks preliminary, informal information from economic operators regarding the supply and maintenance of such a system.

Description of the procurement
