In accordance with Article 28(6)(a) of Directive 2014/24/EU, the Contracting Authority is availing of shortened timescales in connection with this competition on the basis of urgency. Specifically, the project in question is characterised as urgent due to its relevance to an acute hospital environment and the likely time required to adequately assess all proposals received from an operational perspective.
