Short description
The Development will consist of a new 1-2 storey replacement Special need’s School building with 26 classrooms and associated ancillary accommodation with 94no. car parking spaces, bus drop-off, 1 no. sports pitch, play areas, sensory garden and site boundary treatment with landscaping to include connection to external perimeter pavement. The total floor area of the new school will be 5310m².
A 16 classroom single storey prefabricated modular temporary school is to be constructed on an alternative site prior for decant purposes during the construction of the new school.
The existing school building, prefabricated structures and derelict bungalow is to be demolished / removed including the removal of asbestos in the existing structures to make way for the new school building.
