Short description

The Contract is intended to provide information in respect of the ground and groundwater conditions along the proposed route of the N22 Baile Bhuirne to Macroom Road Development. The scheme involves approx. 22 km route corridor, based at the foot hills of the Derrynasaggart Mountains.
The Contract provides for the sinking of boreholes and rotary core holes, excavation of trial pits, cone penetration tests, in-situ testing, soil, groundwater and rock sampling, laboratory testing, environmental sampling, environmental testing, surface geophysical surveys, downhole geophysics and preparation of a factual report in paper and digital (AGS) format in accordance with the Contract Documents, Specification, Bills of Quantities and Drawings.
