Cork Airport, located approximately 8kms from Cork City, is the international
gateway to the south of Ireland and Ireland’s second busiest International Airport
after Dublin Airport with more than 50 routes on offer.
It is estimated that more than 2.2 million passengers will travel through Cork
airport in 2016. Cork Airport is constantly evolving its route network and has
recently added new airlines, Iberia Express, FlyBe and CityJet along with a
number of new routes including Madrid, Düsseldorf, Nantes, La Rochelle,
Southampton and Cardiff.
Cork Airport boasts a modern terminal which utilizes glass, steel and timber
materials in a contemporary design that maximises the effects of light and space
under a single-span curved roof structure. It has a loyal catchment area as well
as internationally recognised award winning customer service and leading
passenger satisfaction levels.
