    Short description of the contract or purchase(s)

    CIE Tours carries approximately 30,000 tour passengers per annum with approximately 800 departures on Irish-based tours. Tours range in duration from 5 to 14 days and cover Ireland (North & South). CIE Tours has appointed economic operators to a multi-party Framework Agreement for a period of three (3) years from January 2016, with an option to extend for a further period of one year. The services required are divided into 2 Lots, as follows:

    Lot 1: Scheduled Tour Programme;

    Lot 2: Ad Hoc Group Tours.

    This is a non-mandatory notice as this procurement process falls outside the requirements of Directive 2004/17/EC. The process will be conducted largely in accordance with the negotiated procedure, but will avail of the non applicability of the requirement for a standstill period and the application of the Remedies Directive 2007.
