    This works contract will be for the construction and commissioning of a utility gas network to Wexford Town from Campile Co. Wexford and include the installation of gas network and potentially, the upgrade of some of existing water network at specific locations in Wexford Town. The contract has been subdivided into the following Lots: Lot 1 - Gas Feeder Main, Lot 2 - Wexford Town Gas Network & Lot 3 - Wexford Town Gas & Water Network

    The overall scope of work includes but is not necessarily limited to the following:

    Carrying out all construction activities associated with the laying of a polyethelene gas feeder main pipeline in rural, suburban and urban environments, including preparation of the working area, pipe laying, tie ins to existing network installations, excavation, testing, negotiation of existing services, ditching, backfilling, and reinstatement, commissioning and other associated works. In addition, the project scope may include the upgrade of existing water infrastructure network in Wexford Town.

Bord Gáis Éireann/ Ervia also reserves the right to contract with each member of the group on the basis of joint and several liability, or with one member of the group as a main contractor with a number of sub-contractors or on any other basis as Bord Gáis Éireann/Ervia considers appropriate.
