As a national service provider, An Post services over 2.2 million delivery addresses daily and in excess of 1.7 million customers each week through 1,147 retail Post Office outlets nationwide. An Post has an annual turnover in excess of €800 Million. The An Post group includes a number of subsidiaries and associated companies including One Direct Insurance, The Gift Voucher Shop, PostPoint, PrintPost and The Prize Bond Company Limited. An Post will shortly have a requirement for the provision of Security Monitoring services for a large number of sites throughout Ireland to meet its requirements for which include but not limited to the following: 1. Security and Fire alarm monitoring 2. Lone worker personal safety device monitoring 3. Remote CCTV viewing 4. Remote opening/closing 5. Provision of a 24 hour support line and associated services 6. GPS based Asset tracking and support 7. Provision and support of multi path alarm communications devices 8. Provision of remote monitoring system and reporting software with facility for custom user reports Where the service/s require PSA licence/s suppliers will be requested to provide a copy of these licences at prequalification stage of this tender process. An Post will consider alternative options on how the services can be provided. The specifications will be open to variant offers and An Post will set out the minimum requirements in the tender documentation. A conflict of interest includes any factor such as the supply of similar services to clients or relationship which could affect the ability of your organisation, its agents, employees or subcontractors to deliver.
