Waterford Cultural Quarter is an initiative of Waterford City and County Council to bring about culture led-urban regeneration in the O’Connell Street area of Waterford City. The Waterford Cultural Quarter Strategic Plan 2021-2025 outlines ambitious objectives relating to buildings, public realm, place making etc. One of the actions in the strategic plan us to “support the development and implementation of a WCQ Market and support activities that animate the street”. Waterford City and County Council now seeks the services of a suitably qualified, experienced, dynamic and engaging company or sole trader to carry out market coordination and other services to bring about a successful crafts market in Waterford Cultural Quarter.
